I actually enjoy this picture. It’s not just a rendition of the classic, skinny girl stands in front of a mirror and sees a larger version of herself. To me it also says much more. Who wants just the core of an apple? The apple sees itself as whole in the mirror. For some reason, human society has brought us to believe that if we’re not whole (skeleton thin), we’re not beautiful, wanted, happy, etc. This brings it into perspective. Do you want the core of an apple instead of an untouched one? A thing boney puppy, or a full happy one? Do you really want to be just a shell of a human, or a healthy one, which is really all that matters anyway? Kudos to the creator of this image, it’s incredibly inspirational.
